Friday Feature: Freshie’s Lobster Co.
This Friday Feature is going to be short and sweet. Because there’s not much more to say than YES PLEASE! If you have yet to enjoy a lobster roll from Freshie’s you’re missing out. Big time. I’ll admit, the price tag breaks the bank a bit ($25 for the XL, $20 for the Real Mainah, and $11 for the Tourist), but they are 100% worth it. The tender, buttery meat is dusted with herbs and placed in a toasted and buttered roll.
I’m not the only one praising their glory. They received “The Worlds Best Lobster Roll” achievement at the lobster roll festival in Portland, Maine. Yup, these lobster rolls are better than those served in Maine.
There are other items on the menu that look delicious, but the lobster roll is just too darn good for me to try anything else.
In addition to having a brick and mortar in Park City, they have a food truck, which often visits the Salt Lake valley. Luckily, a second brick and mortar is set to open in Salt Lake City later this summer.
If melt in your mouth perfection is up your ally, then go to Freshie’s. You can thank me later.
