Friday Feature: Brass Smoothies

Friday Feature Brass SmoothiesFriday Feature: Brass Smoothies

I remember my first Brass Smoothie like it was yesterday. Honestly, before ordering I questioned how someone could justify paying so much for a smoothie. Well, after my first sip, I immediately knew the answer. I could justify paying a bit more for Brass Smoothies because they were downright DELICIOUS. I also remember thinking I was screwed, because I would be craving a Brass Smoothie everyday from there on out.

What makes Brass Smoothies so good? The use the fresh, high quality ingredients. The Limelight smoothie, one of my favorites, has fresh squeezed lime juice, cashews, coconut milk yogurt, kale, banana, vanilla and almond milk. It’s a perfect combination of tart, creamy, and slightly nutty. Another favorite, Mister Blonde, combines pineapple, coconut manna, coconut water, coconut milk yogurt, banana, and mango. Honestly, it’s hard for me to not finish this smoothie in minutes because it’s so darn scrumptious.

In addition to being delicious, the smoothies are healthy for you (I’n assuming.) Tasty and healthy? Yes please! Another bonus? The staff is awesome. Every time I go in they are friendly and welcoming. They also don’t keep you waiting too long if they’re busy, which is a huge bonus in my book.

So, while the smoothies are not cheap, they are 100% worth it. I would, and have, driven across town to get one. Just be warned: Once you start, you can’t stop. But that’s not always a bad thing, is it?
