Seasoned French Fries

Seasoned French Fries

Seasoned french fries are a weakness of mine.  I’m pretty sure I could eat them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  The only issue?  I don’t want to make homemade fries every time I crave them.  So, my way of getting my fry fix without much work is turning boring frozen fries into delicious fancy seasoned fries.

Seasoned French Fries are the perfect side dish to any dinner.
Seasoned French Fries

1 bag frozen french fries, I always use Alexia Yukon Select Fries
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/8-1/4 teaspoon cayenne, depending on how spicy you want the fries
Salt, sprinkle
Cooking spray

Preheat oven to temperature given in the directions on the french fry bag.  Alexia calls for a temperature of 425 degrees. Cover a cookie sheet with aluminum foil.  Place the frozen fries on the foil.  Make sure they are spread out and not laying on top of each other.

Spray the fries with 3 or 4 sprays of cooking oil.  Sprinkle all of the seasonings on the fries and mix with your hands.  Spread the fries out again.

Place in oven and bake according to directions on french fry bag.  Alexia fries should be cooked for roughly 30 minutes and mixed halfway through cooking process.

I suggest eating these seasoned fries with my curry chicken salad or my cilantro lime salad.  Honestly, a tasty entree salad with a side of french fries sounds like the perfect dinner to me.
